Description:
A magnificent figure modelled as the famous statesman mounted on his favourite mare, wearing a top hat, cravat, long jacket and waistcoat with a cloak over his shoulder. The horse, with docked tail, stands on a mound with flowers and tufts of grass by its feet, atop an oval base with the gilt script title 'Sir Robert Peel'.
Circa 1850
Approx - 11.75 inches (300mm) tall.
In very good original condition throughout.
